Xylophone Soundscape

social interaction

A collaboration between DMOA and the K.U.Leuven (prof.ir.arch. Andrew Vande Moere and ir.arch. student Maarten Houben) in search for making interactive architecture.
The DMOA office building will physically react to passers-by by producing alternating sounds. Built in every windowsill, little hammers knock on wooden blocks of different lengths.

Together they form a building-sized xylophone that will soon play its first tunes.
